This page summarises the main South African compliance controls surfaced through the public iBridge website and explains how privacy requests, access requests, and core website disclosures are handled.
You may request access to records held by iBridge where PAIA applies. iBridge maintains a PAIA Manual prepared in terms of section 51 of PAIA, compiled on 01 September 2025. Requests should be sent to mgqibelo.gasela@ibridge.co.za or raised directly with the Information Officer on 083 254 2481, with enough detail for us to identify the record and verify the requester.
| Request type | What to include |
|---|---|
| Access request | Your identity details, the record requested, why you need it if required by law, and contact information for the response. |
| Correction or deletion request | The information you believe is inaccurate or should be removed, and why. |
| Urgent complaint or incident | A clear description of the issue, affected individuals, and any dates or screenshots that help verify the problem. |
PAIA requests are generally handled within 30 days, with a further extension of up to 30 days where the request volume or search complexity reasonably requires it. Request fees and reproduction fees may apply in line with the PAIA regulations.
Use this form for POPIA access, correction, deletion, objection, PAIA record access, or related privacy complaints linked to the public website.

Electronic direct marketing is not enabled by default on the public website. Where marketing is introduced, iBridge will use an express opt-in model where POPIA requires it and will provide a clear opt-out channel.

The 2025 year-end compliance report records the following completed deliverables for iBridge: PAIA reports submitted, the 2025 PAIA Manual update completed, security-breach assistance completed, POPIA/PAIA awareness training completed, and consultation meetings completed.
The 2026 roadmap is structured around phased review work, policy review, and policy training so governance maturity continues to improve over the coming year.
A copy of the PAIA Manual is available at iBridge’s head office for public inspection during normal business hours, on request to the Information Officer, and to the Information Regulator on request.
