For POPIA and PAIA matters, contact the Information Officer or Deputy Information Officer directly on the numbers above rather than the general office lines. Use the subject line POPIA request, PAIA request, correction request, deletion request, or marketing opt-out so your query reaches the right workflow quickly. General business, supplier, and recruitment enquiries should continue to use info@ibridge.co.za or recruitment@ibridge.co.za instead of these legal channels.

Information We Collect

  • Contact and identity details you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, CV or cover-letter content, and message content.
  • Technical and security information needed to operate the site, including IP address, browser and device information, online identifiers, logs, and security events.
  • Consent and preference records relating to cookies, analytics choices, accessibility, marketing preferences, and external content.
  • Where relevant to recruitment, training, supplier onboarding, or service delivery, we may process qualifications, employment history, references, or related records you provide to us.

How and Why We Use Personal Information

  • To provide products, goods, services, and follow-up support requested through the site or other public channels.
  • To respond to enquiries, complaints, careers submissions, and service or partnership requests.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve the public website and related communication channels.
  • To comply with legislative, regulatory, risk, tax, employment, and reporting obligations that apply to iBridge.
  • To conduct service analytics, quality assurance, and business research where lawful and appropriate.
  • To send direct marketing by electronic communication only where you have expressly opted in or another lawful basis applies.

Lawful Bases and Collection Notices

When you submit a website form, required fields are marked so you can distinguish mandatory information from optional information. If you do not provide the required contact and message details, we may not be able to answer your enquiry.

Marketing consent is optional and is kept separate from the consent needed to answer your message.

We process personal information where you consent, where processing is necessary to perform a contract or respond to your request, where the law requires or permits it, or where it is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of iBridge, you, or a third party.

Sources, Operators, and Sharing

We may collect personal information directly from you, from public records, from your interaction with our service channels, and from third parties where you have consented or where the law permits collection.

  • Hosting, infrastructure, cloud, or security service providers acting on our instructions.
  • Email, support, courier, and communication systems used to answer enquiries and deliver services.
  • Recruitment verification agencies, background checks, training bodies, or client organisations where a role, learning programme, or service engagement requires it.
  • Regulators, courts, tax authorities, insurers, law-enforcement, banks, or professional advisers where disclosure is required or lawfully justified.

Cross-Border Transfers

Some website operators or optional services may process information outside South Africa. Where that happens, iBridge only permits the transfer where POPIA allows it, including where the recipient is subject to comparable protection, the transfer is necessary for your request, or you have consented to it.

Retention

  • Enquiry, recruitment, and website request records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer you, manage the relationship, or meet legal obligations.
  • Cookie and consent preferences are stored for up to 12 months before we ask you again.
  • Security and technical records may be retained longer for fraud prevention, incident response, backup, contractual, or regulatory reasons.
  • We may also retain information where a contract, research purpose, code of conduct, consent, or lawful business purpose requires it.
  • When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymise it, or retain it only where the law permits or requires.

Security Safeguards

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, destruction, misuse, and disclosure. These measures include access control, transport security, monitoring, data minimisation, and environment hardening.

If a security compromise is likely to affect you, we will investigate it and notify affected persons and regulators where POPIA requires notice.

Your Rights

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Request access, correction, updating, or deletion where appropriate.
  • Object to certain processing or withdraw consent for optional processing.
  • Opt out of direct marketing by electronic communications.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Where a correction, deletion, or objection request is valid, iBridge will action it within a reasonable period. Some updates may take up to 15 business days to reflect across systems, and certain records may need to be retained where the law requires it.

Children

This public website is designed for business, employment, and service enquiries. It is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorisation.
